The UK’s largest and most successful Odoo ERP gold partner, Smart IT has announced its first implementation of Odoo version 17 – the latest release from enterprise resource planning software vendor, Odoo. Odoo provides seamlessly integrated functional business apps that form an ERP solution when combined.  

The client, Simbar is a new golf simulation bar which opened in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire on December 7. It features two 'state of the art' golf simulators, giving golfers the chance to 'play' on some of the world's best and most famous courses. 

The new bar boasts a market leading ERP system. The solution includes full accounting, employee management, rotas, clocking in and out, point of sale with stock management and a website with online booking system for people using the bar.   

Rob Bullen, one of the owners of the bar is delighted with the installation: “The ERP does everything we need it to do and more and is an extremely cost-effective option. With so much functionality out of the box the solution will absolutely scale as we look to open other bars across the UK.”

Odoo Enterprise version 17 was only released in mid-November. This is the first installation in the UK to go live that Smart IT is aware of.
